How do you make a sizable home feel warm and luxurious? We brought the poolside vacation home and inspired this entertainment dream. Both the inside area and outdoor oasis were built with people in mind as the owners love to host gatherings. Design and layout made the difference in spatial flow.
Although this house is large and open, our use of warm colors and wood tones brought comfort into a living space that was too open. Contemporary appliances and fixtures were carefully chosen from design center to best suit the tone of the home.
The bathrooms carry the simple clean lines of the rest of the home. Neutral colors were used for the kid’s baths and the guest suite with private bath, while the master features a curb-less shower for two.
The open floor plan of this modern, single-story family home allows for entertaining throughout. Vaulted ceilings and an abundance of large windows add to the open, bright feeling within. Special touches include Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances, mosaic glass backsplash, custom-shaped island with quartzite countertop providing ample surface area complete with a raised overhang, modern slab door stain-grade cabinetry, and a walk-in pantry. The flooring may look like wood but it’s actually tile and surprise, the owner added radiant heat beneath.
